The City of Niagara Falls has several hundred motels located throughout the city. Hotels/Motels range from big to small, elegant to economical and expensive to relatively cheap.

It is always best to make Motel/Hotel reservations prior to visiting Niagara Falls. For those Hotels/Motels located closest to the Falls or are of the resort type Motels, reservations are recommended. With the large number of motels available, visitors can come to Niagara Falls without making any accommodation arrangements and still find suitable rooms available.

THERE ARE SEVERAL GUIDELINES VISITORS SHOULD CONSIDER WHEN RENTING ROOMS AT MOTELS/HOTELS.

They are:

Make sure the Motel/Hotel is rated by AAA or CAA or has a reputable name.
Locate Motels/Hotels on commercial Routes.
Examine the room if possible.
Find out who your nieghbours are? (you may be staying next to party animals)
If the Motel/Hotel looks neat, tidy and visually appealing.....it probably is.
If the Motel/Hotel looks dirty, untidy and visually unappealing.....it probably is.
Don't rush & Don't panic... there are many Motels/Hotels to choose from.
Never leave valuables in your motel room....if the motel cannot provide security, lock them into the trunk of your vehicle (out of sight)
